Mladina Urges End to Armament

Ljubljana, 24 September - The major floods that hit Slovenia last weekend show how absurd it is to spend money for military equipment. The state will reportedly give as much as EUR 15m for the equipment of the new battleship Triglav, which is more than the estimated total costs of key flood-protection facilities for Ljubljana, weekly Mladina comments on Friday.
