Public Sale of Petrol Oil Company in October
Ljubljana, 24 August - SLOVENIA/PRIVATIZATION
The Slovene Privatization Agency approved the privatization programme of the Slovene oil company Petrol on 16 August, so that privatization of this company can start before the end of August. Director General of Petrol, Franc Premk, told a news conference in Ljubljana Thursday that in the first stage of privatization, which comprises internal distribution and internal purchase, one third of socially-owned capital would be distributed. Public sale for privatization vouchers and cash will start in the beginning of October. 65 percent of Petrol's socially-owned capital will be put on sale.
