Census Lists 75,000 Agricultural Holdings in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 30 September - Slovenia has a total of 74,432 agricultural holdings, which manage 466,941 hectares of farm land and 404,451 livestock units, a 2010 agriculture census presented on Thursday by the Statistics Office shows. An average agricultural holding uses 0.7 hectares more than 10 years ago, while the average number of livestock units has not changed.
