EU Issues Second Warning to Slovenia over Consumer Protection
Brussels, 30 September - The European Commission issued on Thursday a second warning to Slovenia for its inadequate transposition of EU legislation on consumer rights in distance marketing. The Commission believes that the Slovenian law leaves consumers concluding contracts with financial service providers over the phone without sufficient information.
