Slovenia Records 2.3 Million Overnight Stays in the First Half of 1995

Ljubljana, 30 August - Slovenia registered 681,854 tourists in the first half of 1995, of which 333,278 (49 percent) were foreign visitors to Slovenia. The number of foreign visitors increased by 9 percent in comparison with that recorded in the same period last year, while the number of overnight stays went up by 11 percent. Foreign visitors accounted for 45 percent of 2.3 million of overnight stays in the First half of 1995, the National Office of Statistics reported.
