Drnovšek on Slovene Integration in the EU

Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek addressed Thursday the European Forum in Alpbach, Austria. Slovenia, already more developed than all European Union associate members and even surpasses some EU members, moreover it is closer to fulfilling the criteria of Maastricht than the majority of EU members, has been imposed special conditions in order to acquire associate membership in the union, which at the end means practically nothing, said Drnovšek.
