"Ambassador of Science" Awards Granted to Four Scientists

Ljubljana, 22 June - AMBASSADOR/SCIENCE/AWARDS
Ten "Ambassador of Science" awards have been granted by the Ministry of Science and Technology on behalf of the Slovenian government over recent years. This year's awards were granted to Prof Vinko Kambič, academician, and an ear nose and throat specialist of international repute; Prof Vid Pečjak, a psychologist whose recent works have received excellent response; Prof Anton Trstenjak, academician, theologian and psychologist of an international repute; and Prof Vito Turk, an internationally acclaimed biochemist. This was reported by the Minister of Science and Technology, Rado Bohinc, at a ceremony where the scientists were granted the "Ambassador of Science of the Republic of Slovenia" awards.
