Maribor Castle Being Awakened From Centuries-Long Slumber

Maribor, 25 January - Marchpurg Castle, a fortress from the Middle Ages located on a hill overseeing Slovenia's second largest city of Maribor, is being uncovered from the past by archaeologists in a project that is expected to conclude in 2012 with the opening of a open-air museum as part of the city's stint as the European Capital of Culture.
