Govt Raising Excise Duty on Cigarettes

Ljubljana, 10 March - The government decided on Thursday to raise the excise duty on cigarettes on 1 April, increasing it from EUR 77 to EUR 80 per 1,000 cigarettes. The government is acting in accordance with the changes to the excise duties act from April last year.
