Prospects for Podravje Bleak as Bankruptcies Continue

Maribor, 13 March - The first half of 2011 will be pessimistic for the northeastern Podravje region, according to Gregor Cerar, the regional secretary of Slovenia's biggest trade union confederation, the ZSSS. It is estimated that at least 1,000 people will be made jobless in the first half of the year alone.
