Main Hospital, Cancer Treatment Centre, Close in the Red in 2010

Ljubljana, 15 March - Slovenia's biggest hospital, UKC Ljubljana, and the Oncology Institute, the main cancer treatment centre, closed in the red in 2010. Both blame the loss on austerity measures implemented by the Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS), which manages the country's health purse.
