Minister Says Food from Japan No Threat to European Consumers
Brussels, 17 March - Food from Japan is currently no risk to the health of European consumers, Slovenian Agriculture, Forestry and Food Minister Dejan Zidan said in Brussels on Thursday based on a report of the European Commission in response to Japan's nuclear crisis. Imports of food from Japan into the EU, especially through Slovenia, are minimal.
