Foreign Ministry Welcomes Transition of Power in Afghanistan

Ljubljana, 23 March - The Foreign Ministry welcomed on Wednesday the transfer of power and responsibility for security in Afghanistan, announced by Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Tuesday. Successful completion of this project depends on the training of Afghan forces, so an early reduction of Slovenian engagement is not expected, the release reads.
