NGO Urges Cement Plant to Become Environmentally Friendly

Zagorje ob Savi, 23 March - Eko krog, an environmental NGO fighting against toxic incineration at the Lafarge Cement plant in Slovenia, called on Wednesday upon the French-owned cement maker to become environmentally friendly and start producing cement without incineration. It also urged the Slovenian government to start demanding such clean cement in public tenders.
