Idrija Remembers Earthquake 500 Years Ago
Idrija, 26 March - The western town of Idrija remembered the devastating earthquake that rocked this once mercury mining town 500 years ago, to the day, on Saturday. An exhibition depicting how the quake changed the town opened on the occasion with Environment Minister Roko Zarnic setting it as an example of how earthquakes affected society.
