Slovenia Gets EU Aid for Former Mura Workers

Brussels, 29 March - The European Commission made a payment of EUR 2.25m to Slovenia on Tuesday from the European Globalisation Fund. The money is intended for 2,554 workers of former clothing giant Mura, who were laid off in late 2009 when the company declared bankruptcy.
