New Foreign Labour Act to Improve Protection of Migrant Workers

Ljubljana, 29 March - Parliament passed on Tuesday a new act on foreign labour, which the government proposed in a bid to improve the living and working conditions of migrant workers following revelations of massive mistreatment in particular of construction workers from the Balkans. The vote was 48-0.
