Number of Vegetable Growers Down 36% since 2000

Ljubljana, 30 March - There were 1,114 vegetables growers in Slovenia in 2010, which is 36% less than in 2000. An individual producer cultivated vegetables on an average of 1.1 hectares of land, according to provisional data from the Statistics Office.
