Govt Deficit Down to 5.5% of GDP in 2010

Ljubljana, 31 March - Slovenia's general government deficit last year stood at 5.5% of GDP, 0.5 percentage points less than in 2009. The deficit in the last quarter of 2010 was surprisingly low, at 1.6% of GDP, the Statistics Office said on Thursday.
