Ljubljana Surgeons Develop New Breast Reconstruction Method

Ljubljana, 12 April - Slovenia's central hospital, the Ljubljana UKC, has started performing a new method of breast reconstruction for cancer patients. The UKC surgeons say they are first in the world to use a 3D mould to form a new breast from the patient's abdominal fat. The tissue is then implanted and fixated in the place of the removed breast.
