Bled: Ministers of Transport Meet

Bled, 6 October - BLED/TRANSPORT/MINISTERS/CONFERENCE
The 5th regional conference of ministers of transport continues Friday at the Villa Bled (northwestern Slovenia). Among the topics of the conference are issues from the field of transport policy, traffic safety and ecology, infrastructure, combined transport and processes of joining the European Union. The meeting is led by Slovene Minister of Transport and Communications Igor Umek, other participating ministers being: Austrian Minister of Transport Viktor Klima, Hungarian Minister Karoly Lotz, Croatian Minister Ivica Mudrinić, Slovak Minister Alexander Rezeš and Czech Assistant Minister Ivan Foltyen. The ministers are to adopt "the Bled Declaration", which is to contain highlights of the topics under discussion.
