Central Bank Opposes Bank Tax Bill

Ljubljana, 2 June - The central bank does not support the government-sponsored motion to introduce a bank tax in a bid to alleviate the credit crunch, one of the reasons being that it could prompt banks into taking inappropriate credit risks.
