Luka Koper Grinds to Halt as Crane Operators Go on Strike
Koper, 29 July - Crane operators at Slovenia's sole sea port, Luka Koper, went on strike Friday morning, after a week of intensive negotiations with the management. They demand improvements in safety at work and a reduction in the number of hours they have to work. The management meanwhile believes that the strike demands are illegal.
