SBI TOP Loses One Percent, Lasko Plummets

Ljubljana, 4 August - The SBI TOP blue chip index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was down 1% to 723.24 points in Thursday's trading, as it was dragged down by retailer Mercator (-3.24% to EUR 159.65). The news of the day was a takeover bid for beverage group Pivovarna Lasko by a financial firm, which caused Lasko to plummet 19%.
