Dr Stres: Protection of Human Rights Is Our Duty

Ljubljana, 19 October - The basic objective of establishing of the commission on Justice and Peace in the framework of the Slovene Episcopal Conference was to engage the Church and its leadership in the area of social justice, especially in protection of human rights, and in everything that contributes to peace, coexistence and reconciliation among people, either at home or in international relations, President of the Justice and Peace Commission Dr Anton Stres said in an interview for Slovene daily 'Družina' ('The Family') on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the founding of the commission.
