Ljubljana Public Transportation Celebrates 110th Anniversary
Ljubljana, 6 September - Exactly 110 years to this day, Ljubljana got its first tram, which replaced coaches. Buses took over from trams in 1928, but not for long - since buses operated with a loss, trams were reintroduced as means of public transportation in the capital in 1931. In 1958, trams were replaced by trolleybuses and later by buses.
