Economy Minister Nominee Oresic Backed by Committee
Ljubljana, 13 September - The parliamentary Economy Committee endorsed Tomaz Oresic of the Liberal Democrats (LDS) as the nominee for economy minister in a 6-to-4 vote on Tuesday. The energy expert said that, if appointed in parliament, he would strive for boosting competitiveness of the Slovenian economy and improving the energy sector.
