Slovenia Strives for Preservation of EU Food Aid Scheme

Brussels, 20 September - Slovenia will strive for the preservation of the EU's scheme for distributing free food to the most deprived people, which faces major budget cuts, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Dejan Zidan said in Brussels on Tuesday. If necessary, Slovenia will chip in the necessary funds to keep the scheme going.
