Trade Unions Say Labour Costs Not Major Problem in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 26 September - High labour costs are frequently listed as the key problem of the Slovenian economy, but the ZSSS trade union association has pointed out that the relevant costs in Slovenia were comparable with the rest of the EU. Ensuring more innovative economy generating high added value products should be a bigger priority, say the unions.
