Acclaimed Conductor Says Music Stopped in the Early 20th Century
Maribor, 28 September - Karmina Silec, a leading Slovenian chorus conductor, said in an interview with the STA that serious music stopped at the beginning of the 20th century, while nothing newer is listened to. As a creative artist, Silec feels responsible to bring contemporary authors on stage instead of to a museum, she stressed.
