MP Leaves SocDems over Healthcare Privatisation

Ljubljana, 29 September - MP Julijana Bizjak Mlakar left the coalition Social Democrats (SD) on Thursday, citing "harmful processes in the area of health". She particularly opposes the sale of a Ljubljana health community centre and the bill on services of general interest, which she believes opens the door to privatisation of healthcare.
