Slovenia's Energy Dependence at 48% in 2010
Ljubljana, 4 October - Slovenia's energy dependence on imported resources - mainly high-content coal, petroleum-based products and natural gas - stood at 48% in 2010, which is 0.8 percentage points higher compared to the year before. Total electricity consumption in Slovenia was up 3% last year and energy supply increased by 2%.
