Parliament: Constitutional Court Should Decide on Initiative for Citizenship Referendum

Ljubljana, 27 October - PARLIAMENT/CITIZENSHIP/REFERENDUM
At an emergency session Friday, called at the demand of 39 parliamentarians, Slovene Parliament decided that Constitutional Court should decide on constitutionality of the contents of a demand for a referendum on revoking the Slovene citizenship to those persons who were granted the citizenship on the basis of the article 40 of the Citizenship Law.
