Human Rights Court Rules in Favour of 5 Prisoners in Ljubljana

Strasbourg, 20 October - The European Court of Human Rights has ruled in favour of five former prisoners at the Ljubljana prison, ordering Slovenia to pay the plaintiffs a total of EUR 39,500 because of bad conditions in the prison. The Justice Ministry is considering an appeal, which needs to be filed in three months.
