Twenty Years of Osimo Agreements
Ljubljana, 9 November - SLOVENIA/ITALY/OSIMO/ANNIVERSARY
It will be twenty years on Friday, 10 November, since the Osimo Agreements were signed between the then Yugoslavia and Italy, which finalized the present border between Slovenia and Italy. On that occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia issued a special declaration in which it states in introduction that "the conclusion of these agreements resulted from a new atmosphere in Europe, created by the Helsinki conference on security and cooperation".
