Kocijančič: Slovenia must be open to all directions, not just the West

Before the second party congress due to take place Saturday in Slovenj Gradec, President of the United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) Janez Kocijančič explained in a interview with the STA correspondent Zdenka Jagarinec some of the basic guidelines from the party's new program, and answered questions on current issues, including the position of Slovenia after signing the Dayton peace treaty, relations with neighboring countries, referendums, differences between the two Slovene social-democratic parties, ZLSD's interpellation against the Minister of Economic Relations Maks Tajnikar and prospects for early parliamentary elections.
