Family Law Struck Down in Referendum

Ljubljana, 25 March - Slovenians rejected the idea that gay couples should be given almost the same rights as married partners as a majority voted against the family law in Sunday's referendum. The law that would have also introduced a number of other far-reaching changes was voted down by 55% of the vote, according to unofficial results.
