National Council President Opposes Scrapping of Upper Chamber

Ljubljana, 12 April - President of the National Council Blaž Kavčič voiced opposition Thursday to the plan to abolish the upper chamber of parliament, calling it a part of conservatives' attempts in many countries aimed at reducing the level of democracy.
