Experts Call for Public Procurement Legislation Reform

Portorož, 13 April - Procedures in public procurement are too formalistic and allow abuse, a group of experts agreed at a round table debate discussing potential changes to the relevant legislation in Portorož on Thursday. Alenka Avberšek of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) said that appropriate changes could save EUR 0.5bn annually.
