Prime Minister Drnovšek on the EU and the Recognition of FRY

Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek believes Slovenia might sign an association agreement with the European Union by the end of the year. The recognition of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia is in his opinion a contribution to the stabilization of the Balkan region, and is part of the general peace process.
