Police Unions Leave Negotiations, Insist on Strike

Ljubljana/Celje, 25 April - Representatives of both Slovenian police trade unions left in protest the negotiations of the government and social partners on austerity measures in the public sector on Wednesday. The Trade Union of Police Officers (SPS) said it would step up the strike, but refused to reveal further details.
