Gaspari: USA - NBY's property to remain frozen till succession negotiations are completed

The purpose of the visit to the United States was not just to protect Slovene interests according the UN resolution #1022, but also to complete procedures needed to reach an agreement between Slovenia and commercial banks and to complete necessary procedures enabling using second part of the loan under favorable conditions, which should go to privatized Slovene companies via three Slovene banks; negotiations for the loan are to take place on 18 December in New York, Slovene Finance Minister Mitja Gaspari told at a press conference given by the Slovene finance delegation, also including Governor of the Bank of Slovenia France Arhar and Counsellor to the Government Mojmir Mrak.
