Austerity Budget First Step to Recovery, PM Says

Ljubljana, 10 May - The austerity budget, which cuts spending for 2012 by EUR 1.1bn to EUR 9bn over original plans, is the first step to recovery, which must be followed by measures to restart the economy, Prime Minister Janez Janša told parliament as it began debating austerity measures on Thursday.
