President Greets Army Draft in Prekmurje

Beltinci, 11 May - President Danilo Türk greeted on Friday the traditional army draft event dubbed "Rekrutacija 2012" in Prekmurje (NE). Although Slovenia now has a professional army and young men are no longer obliged to serve their country, the time still requires all people to be patriotic, Türk said, lauding the young for keeping the tradition alive.
