PEN Meeting Opens with Thoughts about Poetry and the Future
Bled, 16 May - The annual international writers' meeting opened in Bled on Wednesday with the contemporary literature and music of Prekmurje in north-eastern Slovenia and of the Slovenian-speaking community in Hungary. The authors gathered from all over the world were received by President Danilo Türk, who pointed to poetry as a path to answers about the future.
