Govt Decides to Send Observer to Syria

Ljubljana, 17 May - The government decided on Thursday to send a military officer on the UN observer mission in Syria, after members of the parliamentary foreign policy and defence committees unanimously backed the plan at today's joint session. Several deputies however warned of bad safety conditions in the country.
