Nobel Laureate Yunus Calls for U-Turn in Thinking about Banks

Maribor, 20 May - Bangladeshi economist Muhammad Yunus, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for helping to lift millions out of poverty with microloans provided by his Grameen Bank, recently visited Maribor for a debate of Nobel laureates. He told the STA in an interview that a turnaround in thinking was needed in order to overcome the economic crisis.
