The leading Slovene pharmaceuticals producer, Lek estimates the year 1995 as successful. The company recorded a 3.5 per cent increase of sales, registered its first medicament in the American market, opened a new plant for the production of pills and became the first Slovene enterprise to pay out dividends to its shareholders. As Metod Dragonja, Director General and the Administration President of Lek told at a press conference Wednesday, this year Lek strengthened its dominant role in the Slovene market, attaining a 24.3 per cent share.
