OECD Slashes Slovenia's Growth Outlook Due to Austerity, Calls for Reforms
Paris, 22 May - While assessing the Slovenian government's austerity package as ambitious, the OECD warned Tuesday that the saving would cause a bigger shrinking of the economy than initially expected, forecasting a contraction of 2% of GDP for this year. It therefore called for reforms to promote growth.
