Forest Service Warns Austerity Leaves It Dry
Ljubljana, 22 May - The national Forest Service warned Tuesday that spending cuts enshrined in the 2012 supplementary budget would leave it unable to carry out its operations. Funding has been cut by EUR 2.7m to EUR 18.27m and only 0.3% of funds are earmarked for material costs, acting director Jošt Jakša said.
